I am happy I can finally locate this place on the map. I kept hearing about winter sports competitions at Lake Placid numerous times as a child but could not locate it within a 500 miles radius.

I am happy I can finally locate this place on the map. I kept hearing about winter sports competitions at Lake Placid numerous times as a child but could not locate it within a 500 miles radius.
Glacier National Park, MT
Lake Sherbourne is pictured in this lovely card from Glacier National Park. It's a perfect place to experience the wildflowers that carpet the area: lupine, blanket flower, and sticky geranium.
